There is nothing more important than matching your corporate brand throughout your marketing materials. Your web site needs to match your logo color scheme and match all of your other collateral materials such as newsletters, kit folders, letterhead and ads. I have found the following tools extremely useful as I develop and hone a corporate brand and image.
Find a color scheme that complements your logo color
Choosing colors for web sites can be tough, especially when you want to match a color scheme to existing branding materials. Here is a site I have found particularly helpful! Color Combos
Match colors between Print & Web
Match existing colors with RGB, CMYK and Hexadecimal (web) colors. I use this Peter Forret’s site here.
Find PMS or Pantone color
To convert the web design color scheme to your print materials, it is helpful to find the actual PMS color (Pantone Matching System). I found this simple site to convert RGB color to Pantone, and it also provides the hexadecimal color as well. Click here.
